Silo sessions!
Tuesday, May 31st, 2011This is old, but I LOVE the outcome so much that I still wanted to share. Back in the fall I took an online course with Jennifer Alder. If you have never heard of her before you should really check her out! She is amazing! The online course I signed up for was about silhouettes. Here are some finished products of my amazing class! I can’t wait to play around a little more with silos…hopefully soon!

Homes for our Troops
Friday, February 4th, 2011Today I had the amazing opportunity to work for Fuji Film and an organization called Homes for our Troops. This was truly an honor to have been asked to photograph this event. Homes for our Troops is a non-profit organization who have committed themselves to helping those who have given to our country and have returned home with serious injuries since September 11, 2001. This weekend they journeyed to Seneca, SC to build a home for CWO3 Jeffrey Pcola and his family. The opening ceremony was held this morning at 8:30 at the site of Pcola’s new home. Fuji Film was the sponsor of this event and donated over $21,000 to the project. Many volunteers from several locations came to help bless the Pcola family. I will post a few more Monday. Hopefully my hubby and I will be able to go back tomorrow and offer a helping hand…so who knows maybe more pictures to come!
Garcia-Senior session
Thursday, August 26th, 2010What a character! Garcia is apparently the class clown and absolutely loves getting pictures done of himself. We started at Toccoa Falls, then moved on to the train station for some “nerdy” pictures. It was definitely a funny session. Garcia I hope your senior year is awesome! Keep making people laugh.

Friday, July 9th, 2010A child is like medicine to heal a heavy heart. At least I feel that way. After a long stressful day of editing and sessions, Isabelle closed my work day up with a BANG! Isabelle is AMAZING!!! She is a filled with so much energy and joy that could light up this entire world! As you will see Isabelle is NOT afraid of the camera at all. She kept me laughing the entire time. She is a character and I am SOOOOO blessed to have had the opportunity to take pictures of her.
