Happy Anniversary to Katie and Garth! I adore this couple. They are so fun, spirited, and extremely comfortable in front of the camera. Katie is a very talented photographer friend of mine (Katie Rivers Photography) and it was an honor being a part of their 3 year anniversary celebration! Congrats friends!! I had such a great E-session with Lauren and Scott. They are so in love and you can tell through these pictures! I met up with them in Downtown Dahlonega. We started our session at the very place Scott proposed! Then headed off to mountain view areas that the couple found before the session. We made it to this absolutely beautiful field that had an incredible view. It was private property so we guessed at who owned it and Scott jumped out to ask permission. The owner was so kind and was quick to let us have free reign. While we were shooting he asked if old cars are good for pictures!! ummmm YEAH!! Then he pulled out his beautiful red sports car (I’m a girl, can’t remember year and model). BEAUTIFUL!!!! We ended the evening in his horse field where there was a beautiful view of the mountains and a beautiful sunset! Thank you so much MR. J for allowing us to use your property! Lauren and Scott I can’t wait for your November wedding!!
I had the pleasure of meeting Brittany and Corie in the good ole town of Clarkesville, GA. The weather man called for rain, but we prayed for nice weather! And thank you God for answering! As well as this being their engagement session I was able to get a few of their beautiful little girl Reagan! See you both in a couple of months for your BIG day!!!

Introducing my new and beautiful niece Harmoni Iyana! My sister Celine is stationed in Fort Wainwright and gave birth to this beautiful Little girl in February. Yesterday I had the amazing opportunity to meet and work with an absolutely ADORABLE couple. Jessica and Brian are so madly in love and it shows! They are from Loganville, but wanted a change in scenery for their Engagement pictures so we met up in Clarkesville. From the moment I saw them I just knew that I’d love them! Well yes, they are a gorgeous couple, but that is not what I meant. As soon as I pulled up next to their car Jessica was so excited to see me and had the biggest smile ever! Her excitement and cheerfulness was a sure sign that I was going to have a great afternoon shooting! I am so excited about their May wedding or shindig as Jessica likes to say. Thank you both for choosing me to capture your special moments. I am so looking forward to see you both again!

I have known Anton for many, many years. In fact I was his youth leader for many years in South GA. About two years ago, Anton called me saying he got engaged and wanted me to shoot his engagement pictures and wedding! So after a couple of trips to Tybee for an engagement session then a wedding, we find they have come back for more. This time they decided to take a trip to Toccoa for a change of scenery (at least a change for them). Anton is an amazing singer and wanted to get some pictures done for a CD cover and website as well as getting a few shots of him and his sweetie. So here are a few that we did this weekend!
Some of you may remember Amy and Jared from their engagement session back in October. Just in case you have forgotten I have also posted some fun pics of their session. I LOVE this couple. They are so in love, so sweet, and super easy to work with. After months and months of waiting (and planning on Amy’s part) their BIG day finally arrived! This past Saturday, February 12, 2011; Amy and Jared said “I DO”!!! A beautiful day (windy, but still beautiful) and a beautiful wedding. After they left the reception we headed to downtown Lavonia and got a few fun shots before they headed out for their honeymoon. Thank you both for choosing me to capture your BIG day!
Since I have been so booked up the past 5 months, my poor blog has been neglected. So instead of trying to write up a blog entry for each and every event (40 scheduled and several impromptu), I decided to break them down into categories and give you a taste of what I have been up to for the past 5 months.
COUPLES!!! I so LOVE doing couples pictures, whether they be engagement, married, or even young love. I hope you enjoy! Leave me some feedback!
First off is Amy and Jared. These two are soooo cute and very sweet! We had a great time traveling to several different places and ended the evening in the road with some sidewalk chalk! Oh too fun! I can’t for their wedding in February!
Next up is Cagney and Doug. Our schedules seemed to never quite line up so their engagement session was about 2 weeks before their wedding. We met up in Helen, GA where the two of them met and enjoyed a beautiful evening walking and snapping! Be looking for pictures from their BEAUTIFUL outdoor home wedding in a few days.
Next is Stephanie and Casey. Sweet, sweet love!! That’s all I can say. They are just so sweet together. We decided to take a ride up to Curahee Mountain and OMG it was BEAUTIFUL up there!
Barry and Kathy are a beautiful couple! They have been married for around 8 years I believe (Kathy feel free to correct me!). Barry is in the military and he and his beautiful wife came to GA to visit some family and decided to do a couples session while they were around. I was so happy to meet them! I would love to hear from you next time you come back to GA!
Lastly, we have the young love birds, Millie and Wes. Millie had been following my work on Facebook until she couldn’t stand it anymore and decide she wanted pictures done!! I was SOOO excited! I’ve known Millie for a few years now, and have always thought she was the most beautiful young lady. The two of them are absolutely adorable, and I really had a blast with them. Wes you are a trooper I must say! Thank you for sticking it out for 2 sessions even though pictures are not your thing! Be on the look out for modeling pictures of Millie in the next few days and then in April we have PROM!!
